Teachers' training Mathematics Teaching Anthropological Theory of the Didactic (ATD).Abstract
In this paper, we present results of exploratory and descriptive research carried out with mathematics teacher students, who undertook a training course. This course has the aim of partially introducing the students into the paradigm of research. One phase included in the methodology of the course requires the mathematics teacher students to make didactic devices for the study of mathematics that fit into the current high school curriculum. Here we discuss the design of one didactic device proposed by the mathematics teacher students. The main results indicate that the students formulate a relatively generative question appropriate for teaching based on the research paradigm. However, they find it difficult to explore and expand on the question, thus, they reduce the scope of the proposal.
