Perspectiva Educacional is a scientific journal of the School of Pedagogy at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, founded in 1980 and aimed at researchers, teachers, and professionals in education and social sciences. Its objective is to promote teacher development and disseminate updated research and theories in the educational field, with a special emphasis on initial and continuous teacher training.
The journal covers both theoretical and empirical research on educational topics at various levels and modalities of the education system, grouped into three key areas:
- Teaching and Learning Ecosystems
- Citizenship, Inclusion, and Diversity
- Educational Policies, Management, and Institutional Leadership
With three annual issues (March, July, and November), Perspectiva Educacional maintains an open submission policy for original articles in Spanish and English throughout the year, providing a platform for academic discussion and exchange in education.
